Family Birthing Center

The philosophy of The Family Birthing Center is to provide personalized family centered care through dedicated nurses who are noted for their commitment to working as a team with physicians, other medical professionals, and most importantly...you and your family.

Our family-centered maternity environment encourages you and your partner to participate in your labor and your baby's birth. Your baby's birth will take place in our large homey birthing rooms designed to handle labor, delivery and recovery, in an environment that is safe, private and supportive. For your comfort and convenience, each of our birthing rooms is equipped with a private bathroom and Jacuzzi. If you are expecting click here for Pre-registration information and forms.

After delivery, recovery and special time spent together as a new family, you will be taken to your private post-partum room. Our beautifully decorated rooms provide a cozy homelike atmosphere where rooming in, family bonding and sibling involvement can take place privately.

Our Newborn Nursery provides "Intermediate" and Continuous Care." That means we have a full compliment of sophisticated technology and state of the art equipment to stabilize the sick infant, care for the transitionally ill infant and care for infants returned to us from Neonatal Intensive Care Units at Specialty Hospitals. We are also proud to be staffed with sensitive nurses who have an extensive background in obstetrics and newborn care.
