Lymphedema therapy
If you're experiencing lymphedema, you must manage your condition with a range of rehabilitation practices. Our therapists provide complete decongestive therapy (CDT), a treatment that combines manual lymph drainage, compression therapy using multilayered bandages, remedial exercises and skin care. We will also teach you the skills you need to manage some of your care at home.
Physical therapy
Our inpatient physical therapy services might be right for you if you’ve recently had surgery or experienced an injury. We develop physical therapy plans that may include movement instruction, manual therapy exercises, medical device education or pain management techniques.

- Cardiac rehabilitation — Managing your heart health with a three-phase cardiac therapy program following a serious event
- Education opportunity — Learning about managing discomfort, avoiding re-injury and limiting stressors

Our inpatient rehabilitation team coordinates treatment plans that can help you regain independence as quickly as possible. We’ll also work with discharge planners to make your transition back home or to another healthcare facility go as smoothly as possible. Some of the occupational therapy services we offer include:
- Assistive technology — Supporting your proper use of wheelchairs, walkers and alternative communication devices
- Hand therapy — Providing custom splinting and orchestrating rehabilitation exercises to help with fractures, tendinitis, amputations, nerve-related issues, impingements, sprains and strains, wounds and scars
Speech and swallowing therapy
Our adult programming can help improve speech cognition and swallowing ability with services such as:
- Caregiver training in feeding techniques
- Exercise programs to enhance neuromuscular performance
- One-one-one sessions for improving the quality of speech and voice
- Strategies to maximize functional communication skills
- Swallowing therapeutic exercises
- Video fluoroscopic swallowing study
